This window reminds me of the pictures you see of spiderwebs after a spider has been given some sort of mood-altering substance. I also love the metal attic vents you see on the other building.

NOLA Architecture 008 - Maple St. Windows


Please click on the image for a larger, more-detailed version.Not every domicile in New Orleans is an ancient, often decrepit Victorian. Some clever people are able to build new homes (or even renovate old ones) that are unique and beautiful and don't insult the lovely venerable homes next to which they sit. These two homes are on Burthe St. between Fern & Short St. It is walking distance from Tulane & one block away from the Maple St. shopping / bar & restaurant district.
